Alpine Powersports Pyro Putty Fire Starter – 2oz Tin

Pyro Putty is the ultimate fire starter, Pyro Putty works by using a wicking action to pull a proprietary blend of flammable oils up a wick made of fibers. Pyro Putty is packaged in reusable tins, it is lightweight, compact, waterproof, non-toxic, and long burning with an unlimited shelflife.   

Remove a piece the size of a pea up to a nickel from the tin. Expose the fibers in the putty and ignite with a lighter, matches, Ferro rod or magnifying glass. A piece the size of a Nickel will burn for 5 to 10 minutes. (In high wind conditions, establish flame before exposing to the wind.)

Summer

• For use in temperatures between 40-110°F (4-44°C)

Winter

• For use in temperatures between 20-70°F (-29-21°C)
• A proprietary blend of flammable materials

• For use in temperatures between 40-110°F (4-44°C)

•  Rub on leaky tent seams or shoes to waterproof. Without the exposed ignition fibers inside the Putty, it acts as a waterproofer.
